I've been reading a lot of blogs lately. The subject? Crafting. The outcome? I want to get crafty.  I've already asked my mom if I could take her sewing machine off her hands and have several projects lines up/in my head.


I havent really ever done any major sewing projects, but how hard can it be, right? We shall see. I am going home in late July so I wont have the machine until then, but in the meantime I will start on some no-sew or sew-by-hand projects.

The first is something I am making for Jen (check out her blog...so cute). I cant really share many details because she's a reader and it would ruin the surprise. It's nothing major, but I think it will be cute. Plus, it's her birthday week : )

the projects I have swimming around my head involve some of the following:
--buttons (LOTS of buttons)
--bows
--zippers
--magnets
--old magazines
--hot glue guns
--ribbons
--faux flowers

I'll be posting pictures of my projects on my blog, of course. So stay tuned.
